About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Integration: Design, operate, and integrate Salesforce systems to enable efficiencies in key areas of the business.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage multiple stakeholder engagements and work with relevant team members to learn project requirements, facilitate process analysis sessions, and develop technology solutions.
  • Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify project issues and risks, and present alternatives for alleviating or resolving them.
  • Solution Development: Design, build, and deliver tailored solutions for the business using Salesforce and other connected technologies.
  • Platform Administration: Provide day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance for the connected Salesforce platform.
  • Reporting and Data Management: Support continued build-out of key reports and dashboards, data administration, and integrity upkeep.
  • Documentation and Support: Provide technical specifications and help maintain overall documentation for the business.
  • End-User Support: Support end users of Salesforce and development and maintenance of the Salesforce platform.
Requirements
  • Essential Skills: Knowledge and experience in the development, administration, and support of Salesforce systems, knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities, including Sales Cloud, CPQ Service Cloud, Pardot, etc.
  • Desirable Skills: Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD best practices, familiarity with 3rd party tools like Ownbackup, DocuSign, Conga, etc., experience with Salesforce configurations, experience with enterprise integration tools and ETL (extract, transform, load) tools, familiarity with tools like Ownbackup, SFDX, CLI, Visual Studio Code, and GitHub, etc.
  • Education and Experience: The learner must have completed a Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA or have an equivalent qualification with another training provider, or an A-level in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) subject and a successful completion of our aptitude test, or a BTEC Diploma in IT and a successful completion of our aptitude test, or 2 years' experience in a relevant role and successful completion of our aptitude test.

Future Prospects

The apprentice will get to work in a friendly and collaborative team and will be given the opportunity to progress onto a higher apprenticeship programme once completing the level 4.
