About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our team at the Trout Inn. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a section of the kitchen team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement menu ideas, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Manage food ordering, preparation, and stock control, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Train and mentor junior chefs, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Oversee health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
