- Act as the Qualified Individual (Electrical).
- Enhance understanding of system malfunctions and their origins.
- Carry out monitoring assessments and new setup installations.
- Assist in keeping the facilities and equipment areas tidy.
- Perform defect inspections and compile reports.
- Broaden knowledge of on-site generation systems.
- Provide support for shift team members.
- Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Facilities Manager in enforcing policies and procedures.
- Exhibit qualities necessary to fulfill contract obligations.
- Maintain required training and skill levels.
- Provide consistent updates on workload to the Supervisor.
- Identify areas for operational enhancement.
- Contribute to report generation.
- Ensure satisfaction of service users.
Health & Safety Responsibilities:
- Continuously assess safety performance.
- Ensure team participation in safety briefings.
- Oversee the preparation of Safe Work Systems and Risk Assessments.
- Ensure appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is utilized.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Financial Responsibilities:
- Assist the Facilities Manager in achieving financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with the ordering process.
Candidate Profile:
- Possess relevant certifications and qualifications.
- Trained in building service disciplines.
- Effective communication, numeracy, and IT skills.
- Commercially aware and knowledgeable.
- Strong understanding of Facility Management principles.
- Familiar with health & safety regulations.
- Exhibit strong decision-making and communication abilities.
