Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Recovery Coordinator to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our ARMS Service, you will play a vital role in coordinating the care of high-level At Risk Mental State clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care in accordance with NICE guidelines and National Early Intervention (EI) Access and waiting time standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the care of high-level At Risk Mental State clients within the ARMS Service.
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in line with NICE guidelines and National EI Access and waiting time standards.
  • Manage risk and collaborate with team colleagues to support service users.
  • Contribute to the mission of the ARMS Service by empowering individuals and their families to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or equivalent with evidence of further study. Registered with NMC, Social work England or HCPC.
  • Mentorship or equivalent qualification.
  • Evidence of personal and professional development in contemporary mental health.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Certificate in a psychotherapeutic/psychosocial intervention.
  • Training in use of CAARMS (Comprehensive Assessment of At Risk Mental State) assessment tool.
  • Family Intervention training.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Literate in IT/Computer Skills.
  • Able to make good use of clinical supervision in a group and/or individual format.
  • Liaise with other teams and services including external agencies as required for the patient recovery journey.
  • Experience of working in an acute/community mental health setting.
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary setting.
