We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in Burton-on-Trent. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to a younger adult with an acquired brain injury.
Key Responsibilities- Implement care plans to ensure the service user's routines are followed, preventing any distress.
- Conduct personal care activities, including showering, catheter, and bowel care.
- Remain engaged and patient with the service user, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Perform domestic duties, including household chores and laundry.
- Administer medication as required.
- Record observation checks and maintain accurate records.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate.
- Up-to-date mandatory training certificates.
- Full up-to-date CV.
- A minimum of 3 months' experience working in a hands-on care role.
- A referenceable work history.
- A bubbly and outgoing personality, with a true passion for making the lives of those under your care as fulfilling as possible.
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.35, rising to £12.88 after 13 weeks.
