Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Media Operations Specialist within the Royal Air Force. This role is pivotal in assisting People Operations Media Officers and HQ Air Command in the effective delivery of national and international imagery that accurately represents the RAF's narratives. Your primary duties will encompass:

  • Executing photography and videography assignments
  • Supporting the capture of visuals for various campaigns
  • Maintaining precise documentation of media assets
  • Enhancing the RAF's presence across social media platforms

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 2 GCSEs in English Language and Mathematics or equivalent Scottish National 5 qualifications
  • Current employment, self-employment, or academic engagement in journalism or public relations
  • Exceptional written communication skills in English
  • Possession of a valid UK driving licence
  • A commitment to a minimum of 27 days of service annually
  • Successful completion of a fitness assessment
