The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding a dedicated team of ecological professionals, ensuring the effective execution of ecological strategies and compliance with environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate ecological mitigation projects to facilitate construction operations.
  • Provide practical guidance and support to construction teams, environmental managers, and subcontractors to meet ecological requirements in alignment with technical and legal standards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive ecological mitigation strategies to proactively address ecological risks, fostering collaboration across the project team.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven project management expertise with strong organizational capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of ecological management and mitigation practices for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with ecological legislation relevant to development projects.
  • Possession of a valid UK driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
  • Holder of protected species licenses and a solid understanding of environmental management in construction contexts.
  • Awareness of the utilities, construction, and engineering sectors.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and GIS.
  • CIEEM Membership or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Experience in liaising with regulatory bodies regarding species licenses.
