About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Software Engineer to join our team at Argo DevOps Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying secure and scalable cloud-based solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit clear requirements and guide the creation of Agile artefacts, particularly focusing on the authoring of viable user stories.
  • Create and deliver software to solve complex business problems, utilizing programming languages such as Java, Spring Boot, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Develop and maintain unit tests, utilizing frameworks such as BDD domain-specific languages and constructs.
  • Design and implement secure cloud-based solutions, leveraging experience with cloud service providers such as AWS or Azure.
  • Automate and integrate security at every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Work within an Agile environment, assisting Product Owners, supporting Agile ceremonies, and facilitating technical workshops.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced developers, guiding their personal and professional development.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable ability to create and deliver software to solve complex business problems.
  • Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, Spring Boot, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Unit testing frameworks usage (e.g. BDD domain-specific languages and constructs).
  • Demonstrable Cloud service provider experience (AWS or Azure) - infrastructure build and configurations of a variety of services including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Kubernetes.
  • Automation and the integration of security at every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience working within an Agile environment, assisting Product Owners, supporting Agile ceremonies, and facilitating technical workshops.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching to guide the personal and professional development of less experienced developers.
