Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to collaborate with Network and Hub Management to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. You will provide expert health and safety guidance across all departments and assist the health and safety team in executing vital projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and enforce high standards of health and safety awareness to achieve full compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Foster a positive health and safety culture within DPDGroup and align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Advise and support sites in meeting health and safety compliance and effective reporting.
  • Assist in incident investigations and conduct thorough inquiries into significant incidents.
  • Perform regular monitoring checks and site inspections as necessary.
  • Collaborate to advance Health and Safety Projects.
  • Encourage positive cultural change through employee engagement and health and safety communication.
  • Participate in site and departmental meetings as required.
Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, candidates should ideally possess the NEBOSH General Certificate and have a solid understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and its associated regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality health and safety documentation, including Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information effectively in various formats.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • Collaboration and support within the team are essential due to the scale of our operations.
  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
