IT Manager Job Description

Kingston Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Manager to join their team at their Head Office in Hull. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure across the business, ensuring the smooth operation of networks, servers, hardware, and software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems.
  • Resolve any systems, hardware, and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular backups and oversee security updates and maintenance to ensure the integrity of the IT systems.
  • Oversee key IT projects through to completion, acting as the point of contact with external developers and IT solution providers.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to IT processes and systems as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an IT Manager is essential, with a proven track record of managing and running projects through to completion.
  • A degree in IT or a related field is beneficial, but consideration will be given to those qualified by experience.
  • Strong technical ability and experience of serving and supporting a business with all elements of IT, including network management, server administration, system and software configuration.
