About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Priory Group. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents with their daily lives, encouraging them to live as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support residents with their personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily activities, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and a sense of community.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Work collaboratively with other care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.

Requirements

  • Reliable, friendly, and caring approach to supporting residents.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and families.
  • Basic knowledge of care principles and practices, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
