We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Director to join our dynamic team at Mitie. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional results and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer relationships and performance across all sites under contract.
- Proactively own quality delivery and maintenance issues, leveraging customer relationships and internal relationships within mobile operations teams.
- Visit buildings and engage with clients to develop strong relationships across the contract.
- Attend client, regional, and national meetings to ensure performance and quality of planned activity, reactive repairs, and small works.
- Ensure WIP, finance, and operational reporting is completed weekly and monthly as per plan.
- Drive operational excellence and client relations.
Main Duties:
- Manage health and safety compliance and quality assurance management through site audits, compliance reviews, and investigations.
- Lead and manage teams, demonstrating strong management capabilities, excellent organization, time management, procedure, and process management.
- Meet and exceed budget targets set within the profit and loss account, utilizing reports and effective team management.
- Identify additional revenue opportunities in line with targets.
- Manage WIP and drive to reduce it by ensuring high levels of first-time fix and a strong partnership with engineering planners.
- Proactively manage the delivery of services from agreed sub-contractors and strive to reduce sub-contractor usage.
- Develop strong relationships with all customers, ensuring escalations reach you first, and develop trust and high levels of communication.
- Support helpdesk coordinators in ensuring accurate and maximized monthly PM plans for excellent engineer utilization.
- Be flexible and undertake other duties to accommodate operational requirements.
- Manage large project works from sub-contractor selection, quote generation, and job completion.
- Manage internal quote logs and issue small-medium value quotations directly to clients.
What We Are Looking For:
- Demonstrable experience in the M&E/FM industries.
- Direct management experience of client relations.
- Organizing and managing teams.
- Determination to own problems to solution.
- Ability to create and work within a strong team environment.
- Good understanding of customer service levels and key performance indicators.
- Commercial awareness.
- Ability to work on own initiative, to a high level of accuracy, and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and IT skills.
- Strong people management, leadership, and influencing skills.
- Good decision-making skills.
- Passion for customer service and experience of developing strong relationships with customers.
