We are seeking a highly skilled VAT Specialist to join our team at We Do Group. As a VAT Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and compliant treatment of VAT across our globally recognized education services group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business divisions and cross-functional teams to ensure VAT is correctly accounted for on all transactions.
  • Advise on liability queries, VAT treatment of transactions, and supplier contract reviews.
  • Liaise with business portfolios to understand their processes and map VAT requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies related to VAT.
  • Review VAT returns and annual adjustments, including partial exemption and business/non-business apportionment.
  • Create a VAT manual for each product and service of the organization.
  • Ensure quarterly VAT returns align with new processes introduced.
  • Review D365 F&O to ensure it meets VAT reporting requirements.
  • Enhance the group's VAT compliance reputation and increase efficiency.
  • Provide training and guidance to the business on all VAT matters.
Requirements:

We are looking for a VAT Specialist with experience in leading on VAT matters within a business. The ideal candidate will have a background in a charity or membership body and be the standalone VAT specialist across the group.
