Job Title: Nighttime Care Assistant

Location: Leeds

Hourly Rate: £11.30 (Weekdays), £14.07 (Weekends), £10.42 (Overnight)

Purpose of Job:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Nighttime Care Assistant to support a disabled individual in their daily life. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and respect for personal boundaries.

Supervision:

The Nighttime Care Assistant will be directed by and accountable to the individual and their partner in all aspects of their work. They will ask for guidance and clarification on any aspect of the assistance required.

Main Duties:

  1. Personal Care:
    • Assisting with morning and bedtime routines
    • Providing support with bathing, showering, and personal hygiene
    • Helping with dressing and grooming
  2. Domestic Tasks:
    • Assisting with household chores, including laundry and cleaning
    • Preparing meals and snacks
    • Providing support with light cleaning and organization
  3. Access to Leisure:
    • Accompanying the individual on outings and activities
    • Providing support with transportation and luggage
  4. Providing backup cover for each other in case of sickness or annual leave.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a sense of humour, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be comfortable with walking and being outdoors in all weather conditions.

Additional Information: The job will be based in the individual's home in Holt Park, with easy access to public transportation.
