About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Care Assistant to join our team at Adel Manor Care Centre, a purpose-built care home in Leeds, West Yorkshire. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred care to residents, supporting them to maintain their independence and achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the care home, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Assist residents with their daily needs, including personal care, medication, and meal preparation.
  • Document resident records accurately and maintain confidentiality.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Experience in a care environment, preferably as a Care Assistant.
  • Care certificate or equivalent, or willingness to achieve within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Good knowledge of care practices, particularly in relation to the care of older people.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate self-motivation and confidence.
