We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Support Workers in the Pupil Referral Unit. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing wellbeing and educational support to pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

The successful candidate will have recent and relevant experience of working with pupils who have social, emotional, and behavioural needs. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality support to pupils, promoting their wellbeing and educational development.

The Pupil Referral Unit caters for pupils from across schools in Swansea, aged between 5-16 years. As a Support Worker, you will work closely with the teaching staff and other professionals to provide a comprehensive support package for pupils.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. You will be a team player, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All posts are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

As a Support Worker with Swansea Council, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
