Substance Abuse Intervention Specialist

Spirehouse Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Substance Abuse Intervention Specialist to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive interventions to support children and young people aged 8-25 who are struggling with substance use.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a trauma-informed approach to assess, care plan, and intervene with young people who are struggling with substance use.
- Work with young people aged 8-25 to reduce the negative impacts of drugs and alcohol on their education, employment, and overall health.
- Deliver psychosocial interventions to families and support young people with familial substance use.
- Collaborate with youth support teams and external agencies to provide a comprehensive support network for young people.
- Engage with schools, homes, communities, and family centers to provide support and interventions.
- Driving License and access to a vehicle.
- Enhanced DBS (preferably on the update service).
