Nursery Room Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Flitwick Day Nursery. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading our team in delivering our ethos and curriculum to our children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality learning experiences and environments for children, aligned with their age and stage of development.
  • Enhance the daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
  • Assist staff in maintaining accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children, staff, and visitors.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification.
  • Over 1 year's experience working in Early Years.
  • Over 6 months' experience working in a senior position.
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating.
  • Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
