Nursery Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team in a lovely setting close to Bedford. Our nursery offers a welcoming environment with opportunities for children to explore and learn through play.

As a Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our nursery, providing high-quality care and education for children, and effectively managing daily operations. You will work closely with our team of early years practitioners, who are dedicated to working in childcare and passionate about providing a stimulating experience for children.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with parents and the local community
  • Create engaging experiences tailored to children's age and stage of development
  • Oversee the maintenance of records and child learning journals
  • Foster a friendly and welcoming environment, promoting self-evaluation and reflective practice
  • Provide regular training on safeguarding, health and safety, and behavior management
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including Ofsted, EYFS, Child Protection, Health & Safety, and GDPR

Requirements:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare, preferably with Management and Leadership qualifications
  • Previous experience in a management role within a nursery setting
  • Good knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in training and developing an early years learning team
