Job Summary:

Glendale Grounds Management is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Team Lead to join our Commercial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading by example and ensuring the effective management of programmed maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively lead and manage a team of grounds maintenance operatives to ensure high-quality work and efficient operations.
  • Assist the Contract Manager and Supervisor in the management of the programmed maintenance schedule.
  • Monitor staff timekeeping, holidays, and sickness levels to ensure optimal team performance.
  • Support and guide the service delivery team in maintaining the highest standards of grounds maintenance.
  • Ensure the security and maintenance of company vehicles, plant, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Skilled in grounds maintenance operations with a strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A full clean UK driving license is required for operating ride-on mowers and driving company vehicles/tow trailers.
