Job Title: Grounds Maintenance

The Recruitment Co is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance professional to join their team at a prestigious University in Manchester.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Grounds Maintenance professional to carry out a range of duties, including grounds maintenance, arboriculture, and landscaping tasks. The successful candidate will work closely with the Environmental Services Unit to deliver a high-quality service that meets the University's standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the supervisory team in delivering a high-quality, cost-effective horticultural and arboricultural service.
  2. Carry out a range of duties, including grounds maintenance, arboriculture, soft landscaping, hard landscaping, weed control, and equipment maintenance.
  3. Work efficiently and safely to the highest achievable standard.
  4. Ensure all associated paperwork is completed and returned to the supervisor for processing.
  5. Participate in performance-monitoring systems to provide evidence of value for money.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience in grounds maintenance, arboriculture, and landscaping, and will be able to work efficiently and safely. They will also have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
