Our client seeks a proactive and analytical ERP professional. In addition to maintaining existing systems, the ideal candidate will collaborate with the team on new system implementations.

Your Responsibilities

If you are driven by improving system performance and streamlining processes, this role offers a unique opportunity for an ERP Developer to create significant value. As a member of our client's ERP implementation team, you will report directly to the operations manager.

This position demands a hands-on ERP specialist who will not only support current systems but also evaluate workflows, design processes, and develop creative solutions that enhance our clients' operations.

Your contributions will include everything from establishing application tables and functions to integrating external software, ensuring that your expertise plays a crucial role in the success of our clients' businesses. You will also engage with the team on new projects across various locations in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead new ERP system implementations
  • Manage the implementation lifecycle, which includes:
    • Business process evaluation, design, or re-engineering
    • Application specifications
    • Requirements collection
    • Functionality design
    • Development (using SQL, Oracle, or other programming languages)
    • Testing
    • Training
    • Support during go-live phases
  • Project planning and management
  • Oversee project budgets
  • Participate in onsite presales activities with the sales team

Essential Qualifications

  • Proficient in ERP systems, with practical experience in implementation or usage.
  • Strong grasp of data structures, relationships, and ERP system concepts.
  • Experience with various ERP platforms (e.g., Priority, SAP, Sage, Oracle, Dynamics, Epicor, NetSuite).
  • Proficient in SQL reporting, views, and queries (or other relevant development experience).
  • Familiarity with business process flows, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or finance sectors.
  • Experience in ERP development and customization.
  • Demonstrated personal attributes:
