Lead Solution Architect

Join a forward-thinking organization in the pump rental industry as they embark on a transformative journey to drive digital excellence and operational efficiency. As the Lead Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's technology architecture, leading ERP/CRM initiatives, and overseeing a diverse range of projects hosted on-premises and in the cloud (Microsoft Azure).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement ERP (finance, manufacturing, distribution, and quote-to-cash) and CRM solutions (ideally Salesforce for sales, service, and field service excellence; data warehousing and analytics along with IoT telematics solutions to support customers).
  • Guide RFI/RFP discussions to select the best-fit systems for the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create a robust architecture blueprint (current state and future state) that reflects the current and future technology landscape.
  • Provide strategic oversight for all technology choices, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
  • Mentor and develop a growing team of professionals, including a Solution Architect, Business Analysts, and Process Engineers.
  • Engage with vendors and third-party suppliers to ensure successful implementation and integration of technology solutions.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in digital transformation as a Lead Solution/Enterprise Architect, ideally including ERP (e.g., Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft or Salesforce CRM solutions, with hands-on knowledge of Azure technologies.
  • A proven track record in leading architectural projects and delivering results in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • An innovative mindset, ready to tackle challenges and drive transformation through technology.
  • Experience in managing teams or a desire to grow into a leadership role.
  • Relevant certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) are highly desirable.
  • Experience in managing global processes, with a strong understanding of cultural and regional differences, particularly within Europe.
  • Experience with process re-engineering and the application of LEAN methodologies in a commercial setting is a strong advantage.
