Position: Electrical Panel Technician

Location: Oundle, Peterborough

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £25,000 - £26,500

Are you proficient in wiring and have a strong interest in automation? Actemium Automation Eltek is looking for a committed Electrical Panel Technician to enhance our skilled workforce.

Role Overview

Collaborating with the Workshop Manager and team to construct metal enclosures and wire electrical components.

You will be responsible for executing accurate wiring tasks for control systems projects within the snack manufacturing sector.

This position requires international travel, primarily to oversee and assist with your projects globally, accounting for approximately 30% of your working time.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabrication of stainless and mild steel enclosures Layout of chassis plates utilizing measuring tools, drills, taps, and rivets Wiring electrical components according to detailed schematics using stripping and crimping tools Travel within the UK and internationally as project needs dictate.

Candidate Profile:

Level 3 Electrical Engineering – City and Guilds certification Proven experience in electrical wiring Capability to construct metal panels and enclosures to high-quality standards, adhering to deadlines and complying with industry regulations
