- Handle complex or large sales enquiries with confidence and initiative.
- Conduct market research on competitors to strategically win business.
- Manage and develop a small portfolio of clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction and business growth.
- Occasionally visit customers to strengthen relationships and understand their needs.
- Negotiate with suppliers both in the UK and internationally to secure the best terms.
- Experience in a sales & customer service role.
- Strong multitasking abilities and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Experience with Live Chat / Teams is desirable.
- Skilled in prioritising customer quotes/enquiries.
- Proven negotiation skills and good people skills.
- Ability to upsell/cross sell to maximise profit.
- History of building and maintaining long-lasting customer relationships.
- Competitive salary range of £27,000 - £30,000 per year.
- Full-time, permanent position with standard working hours from 8.45am to 5.15pm, Monday to Friday.
- 23 days annual holiday, plus public holidays and additional 3 days holiday during the Christmas to New Year closure.
