About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Business Consultant to join our team at ION Group. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for delivering successful projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Implementation: Successfully implement projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  2. Best Practices: Contribute to best practices of the group and mentor other team members.
  3. Project Support: Support the Project Manager on engagements and assist with SOW creation, project planning, etc.
  4. Lead Business Consultant: Serve as Lead Business Consultant on Implementation projects on one or more functional area.
  5. Client Management: Maintain full chargeability on one or more client accounts simultaneously.
  6. Documentation: Author Best Practice Document(s) in functional area.
  7. Sales Opportunities: Identify/pursue sales opportunities for additional consulting work at customer site.
  8. Communication: Provide information to Managers, Professional Services Director, or Account Manager as appropriate.
  9. Industry Expertise: Provide industry and functional expertise and leadership in the discovery workshop in designing, configuring, testing, and production support of the Product solution for the client's business needs.
  10. Client Liaison: Serve as the client's principal point of contact for consultation and expert advice.
  11. Project Coordination: Be in close communication with the Project Manager regarding client questions and issues regarding the Product solution and configuration.
  12. Workshop Leadership: Perform as the Lead Business Consultant in the workshop/requirements and design phase of the project.
  13. Mentorship: Serve as mentor and role model for all level Business Consultants in one or more functional areas of the Product solution.
  14. Training and Development: Work with Managers to enhance, publish, and train staff regarding implementation best practices in specific functional area of the Product solution.
  15. Presentation: Present the Product solution to both client executive and user-level audiences.
  16. Client Signoff: Support the Project Manager in obtaining client signoff of deliverables and milestones.
  17. Project Implementation: Assume hands-on project implementation duties in all phases of the Product implementation reporting to the project manager.
  18. Sales and Presales Support: Provide sales/presales support through estimation, document authoring for RFP/RFI responses, sales proposals, and hands-on demonstrations in specific functional area to meet the client's desired business requirements.
  19. Technical Support: Support the deliverables of the Technical Consultants by providing business and functional guidance, review, testing, and validation of scripted solutions (reports, plugins, and interfaces).
  20. Industry Insights: Consult with ION Product Management to exchange information on the latest developments in the industry to improve the ION Products.
  21. Best Practices: Assist with services best practices.
Requirements
  1. Product Experience: Openlink Endur product experience in implementations per role profile.
  2. Industry Experience: 5-10 years' experience in ETRM industry, systems implementation or similar project exposure, preferably in a consulting or similar role.
  3. Subject Matter Expertise: Require Middle Office/Risk subject matter expertise and 5+ years specifically Endur Middle Office implementation experience.
  4. Education: Bachelor's Degree in one of the following: Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a related IT field or equivalent experience in a related field.
  5. Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a project team structure.
  6. Client Interaction: Ability to work onsite at client locations.
  7. Technical Expertise: 8 to 10 years direct experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting installations in client environments.
  8. Industry Systems Experience: 8 to 10 years Industry/systems experience.
  9. Product Configuration: Demonstrated expertise in more than one area of Product configuration and in one or more industry Product set.
  10. Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills.
  11. Communication Skills: Good written and oral communication skills.
