Role Overview:
As the Stock Control Manager at Cranleigh Scientific Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in the company's growth and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, inspection, and organisation of all incoming goods, ensuring seamless inventory management and supply chain coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the receipt, inspection, and storage of all incoming goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient stock rotation.
- Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.
- Utilise CRM or WMS systems to manage inventory, track goods-in processes, and provide real-time insights for informed decision-making.
- Train and supervise goods-in staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to goods-in operations, providing data-driven insights for process optimisation.
- Collaborate closely with the production and procurement teams to forecast and manage inventory levels, ensuring just-in-time delivery and minimising stockouts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a goods-in or warehouse management role within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Experience with CRM or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with a focus on data analysis and process optimisation.
