Senior Electrical Engineer Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of products and services for industrial markets, is seeking a self-motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join their small, friendly, and professional team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for the full product lifecycle of machine electrical and control systems, including assembly, testing, and commissioning.
  2. Carry out both electrical and mechanical work on bespoke production equipment.
  3. Deliver high-quality projects within budget, cost, and time parameters.
  4. International travel for on-site commissioning and servicing of equipment, including fault finding and offering technical support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Electrical Engineering qualification.
  2. Experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
  3. Rockwell RS5000 and Siemens S7 PLC programming skills.
  4. Competence in electrical and mechanical systems (3 phase, motors, inverters, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics).
  5. Customer-facing experience and comfortable in office, workshop, and factory environments.
Desirable Skills:
  1. Knowledge of CAD software (E plan / AutoCAD).
  2. Experience with Equipment UKCA/CE Marking and Risk Assessment.
