Job Title: Experienced Legal Consultant

We are seeking an experienced legal consultant to join our dynamic and hard-working Legal Team at JD Group. As an in-house counsel, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts, including logistics, IT/technology, sponsorship, procurement, marketing, and digital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate commercial contracts with external parties
  • Provide legal advice to the JD Group on various commercial matters
  • Work closely with the Compliance team and Data Protection Officer to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Support the customer services team with customer queries and small claims

Requirements:

  • Training and experience in reviewing, drafting, and advising on commercial contracts
  • Good understanding of evolving regulations, particularly data privacy and advertising/marketing standards
  • Ability to think outside the box and provide effective solutions
  • Experience working in retail/FMCG/customer-facing industry sector is beneficial
