Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our client's Strategic Procurement team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the organisation's approach to procurement, ensuring compliance with public sector regulations and best practices.
About the Role
- Lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies to achieve organisational objectives.
- Manage and govern a portfolio of corporate contracts to ensure value for money and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and influence procurement policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive business value and improve service delivery.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on procurement matters to stakeholders across the organisation.
Requirements
- Relevant degree or procurement and supply chain qualification (CIPS Level 6).
- Proven experience in public sector procurement, including contract management and governance.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the public sector.
