Exciting Opportunity for a Fitter at The Opportunity Hub UK

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team in Gloucestershire. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth production of aircraft models like the A320 and A330 family.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow technical drawings, specs, procedures, and test instructions to assemble and fit aircraft components.
  • Work on a regularly rotating shift pattern, covering dayshifts and nightshifts, with options for bridging shifts and weekend shifts.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:
  • A completed Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
  • The ability to follow technical drawings, specs, procedures, and test instructions.
  • A desire to learn and understand the basic principles of production flow lines, and take times.
  • Knowledge of COSH and flow line odologies is ideal, but not essential for you to apply.
