Job Summary:

Aldi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Supply Chain team as a Replenishment Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to play a key part in shaping the future of our global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Management: Manage and control the inbound supply chain, working closely with Buying, Supplier, Logistics, and Regional Distribution Centre teams to deliver high-quality and cost-efficient results.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Work collaboratively with suppliers to improve their supply chain efficiencies, including planning of production and distribution into Regional Distribution Centers.
  • KPI Management: Manage supplier KPI adherence and ensure accurate and timely delivery of sales forecast data to the supply base.
  • Supplier Availability: Maintain supplier availability throughout the year, with a focus on Christmas and other key events.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve processes and operations to maximize efficiencies and drive business growth.
  • Department Strategy: Support the delivery of the department strategy as required, working closely with Buying and other stakeholders.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring: Assist Buying by monitoring supplier performance through inbound stock management and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
