We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Pricing Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our supply chain operations to ensure the highest level of service to our internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and challenge existing supply chain solutions to identify areas for improvement
- Design and build new supply chain solutions to meet the needs of our suppliers
- Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with external partners
- Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving invoices, and presenting to the wider management team
- Negotiate costs on inbound transport rates to remain competitive in the market
- Closely liaise with the NSCM Operational team to ensure strategic alignment
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to collaborate and consult on critical business matters
- Articulate and numerate with excellent communication skills
- Experience working in a logistics or supply chain role
- Good working knowledge of international supply chains and freight shipment management
- Computer literate with strong office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Outlook
- Ability to interpret and perform analysis on numerical data
- Starting salary from £36,080 - £42,135
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:30 with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working
- 5 weeks' annual leave plus Bank Holidays
