We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our 0-25 service, you will play a vital role in providing targeted emotional wellbeing support to families in Knowsley.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver the Healthy Child Programme and contribute to the Knowsley Family Hubs offer. This will involve developing and influencing regional antenatal and perinatal mental health support in collaboration with partner agencies.
You will also be involved in public health activities, working with individuals, groups, and communities to promote health and wellbeing. As a key stakeholder in child protection, you will work collaboratively with other agencies to meet the needs of vulnerable families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted emotional wellbeing support to families in Knowsley
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver the Healthy Child Programme
- Contribute to the Knowsley Family Hubs offer and develop regional antenatal and perinatal mental health support
- Engage in public health activities to promote health and wellbeing
- Collaborate with other agencies to meet the needs of vulnerable families
