Temporary Fixed Asset Project Analyst

REMOTE WORKING
£150 per day - 4 months

We are seeking a qualified candidate with expertise in managing a comprehensive fixed assets register for a temporary remote position, offering £150 per day.

If you possess a robust finance background, particularly in Fixed Asset accounting, and are keen to contribute to a pivotal project, this role may be ideal for you.


Key Responsibilities:

Review of Fixed Asset Register:

Conduct a thorough cleanse and assessment of the client's Fixed Asset Register to pinpoint duplicate asset components, outdated items with residual value, and opportunities for asset consolidation.


Manual Asset Reconciliation:

Assess and incorporate assets currently managed outside the asset system into the Open Accounts Fixed Asset Register, ensuring complete reconciliation.


Collaboration with Other Teams:
Partner closely with the client's Third-Party Software Support Team to oversee potential mass disposals and re-uploads.
Work in Progress (WIP)

Backlog Management:
Address and resolve prior year and current year WIP related to component accounting.

Automation of Reporting:

Streamline reporting processes for all fixed asset data, ensuring that the Annual Financial Statement on Fixed Assets is accurately generated in a downloadable report format.


Implementation of Service Charge Solution:
Aid in the deployment of the client's new service charge solution.

Additional Responsibilities:
Complete any supplementary tasks as directed by the client's manager.

Candidate Profile:

Finance Expertise:
Extensive experience in Fixed Asset accounting is crucial.

Systems Implementation Experience:
Preferred, though not essential.

Excel Proficiency:
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.

Analytical Skills:
Capability to manage large datasets with meticulous attention to detail.

Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on effective solutions.

Time Management:
Ability to handle workload under pressure with exceptional time management skills.

Initiative and Teamwork:

Self-driven, with the capacity to work independently while maintaining effective communication with the client's manager, as well as collaborating within a team.
