**Job Summary**

JSS Search Limited is seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join their team on an initial 6-month assignment. The ideal candidate will provide financial guidance, support strategic planning, and drive process improvements across the business.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary, to inform business decisions.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with business objectives and drive growth.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making across the business, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy, ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations to inform business strategy.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data, maintaining a high level of financial transparency.
  • Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

**Requirements:**

  • Must be immediately available or on short notice to meet the needs of the business.
  • Qualified Accountant or QBE with a strong background in financial management and analysis.
  • Experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial results.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time-management skills, able to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively, with a proactive attitude and ability to work as a member of a team.
