Job Title: Asset Inspection Engineer

Join our team at TüV Rheinland Industrial Services as a skilled Asset Inspection Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance of engineering assets throughout their lifecycle.

Job Accountabilities:
  1. Develop and review Written Schemes of Examination (WSE) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  2. Identify preparation requirements from the WSE and coordinate with NDT providers for extensive requirements or specialist methods.
  3. Conduct examinations in accordance with the WSE, including ultrasonic thickness checks, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing.
  4. Prepare clear reports, including photographs, and assess deterioration of assets.
  5. Review design calculations and sentence defects, coordinating repairs as necessary.
  6. Participate in Risk-Based Inspection studies to ensure the integrity of assets.
Requirements:
  1. Ability to accurately follow procedures and make informed decisions.
  2. Understanding of engineering principles and mechanical engineering background.
  3. Able to interact and work with others, including man management experience.
  4. Desirable qualifications include HNC/Degree Mechanical Engineering, Incorporated Engineer status, and at least 5 years' experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
