Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking experienced Mental Health Support Workers to work at Bronllys Community Hospital on Felindre Ward, the Adult Admissions Unit for 18 to 64 year old service users.

Job Summary:

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Mental Health Support Workers. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide therapeutic care and support to patients, observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions. You will work closely with trained nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to patients with mental health conditions
  • Observe and monitor patient conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals
  • Keep accurate records of patient conditions and care provided
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care
  • Support patients with daily living tasks and activities
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months recent and relevant experience in a mental health setting
  • Proof of immunisations for TB, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and MMR
  • Up-to-date training certificates
  • UK Resident
  • Driver with own vehicle
  • Restraint Training - PMVA, PBM, MAPA
  • Right to work in the UK
