Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant / Warehouse Operative to join our team at Guidant Global. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and print/mail facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance
    • Operate and maintain various finishing equipment, including Neopost mailing machines, Paragon pressure sealers/folding machines, and Duplo booklet makers/finishers.
  • Inventory Management
    • Complete consumables stock takes for the machines as required.
  • Housekeeping and Quality Control
    • Maintain machinery to required standards of housekeeping.
    • Ensure product quality standards are achieved and maintained on the machines.
  • Team Support
    • Assist in the hand-enclosing team if necessary (manual input of letters into envelopes).
  • Adherence to Process Standards
    • Adhere to all process standards.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Previous experience working within a print/mail environment or similar.
  • Skills
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Basic PC literacy.
    • A willingness to learn new skills and be flexible.
    • An ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment.
    • An ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
    • A willingness to work overtime when required.
  • Physical Demands
    • This role will involve manual handling, and safety footwear is required.
  • Work Schedule
    • Rotating shift: 6-2/2-10, changing on a weekly basis, with a requirement to work both shifts (Mon-Fri).
