Facilities Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Assistant to join our team at Connect2Hampshire. As a Facilities Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our facilities team, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing excellent customer service to our visitors and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the facilities team, including responding to telephone calls, answering queries from staff, and assisting with incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
- Check facilities, tidying of resource areas, and provision and supply of stationery to staff.
- Complete online electronic orders for stationery and cleaning supplies, and liaise with staff and building users on routine FM services.
- Assist with statutory testing within the building, such as weekly fire alarm testing, and report building faults accurately.
- Report any problems or hazards to senior staff, and complete various records manually and online.
- GCSE or equivalent Grade A-C in Maths and English, or relevant experience in a similar role.
- Approachable with excellent communications and interpersonal skills, showing diplomacy and tact.
- Customer services skills and confidence to interact with visitors.
- Able to follow routines, guidelines, and set procedures.
- Able to work under own initiative but also be a team player.
