Industrial Relations Specialist

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Relations Manager to join our team at NRL Recruitment. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing industrial relations for site and field-based employees, developing the industrial relations strategy for our UK site and field-based client group, and supporting the staffing plan and headcount ramp-up of the client group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage industrial relations for site and field-based employees
- Develop the industrial relations strategy for UK site and field-based client group
- Support the staffing plan and headcount ramp-up of the client group
- Ensure appropriate induction and onboarding processes are in place for new team members
- Provide expert intervention for preventing and resolving IR matters
- Manage the delegation and mobilisation of UK-based and inpatriate employees
- Coach People Leaders on the handling of industrial disputes and grievances, ensuring full compliance to the respective legislation
- Participate in the selection and mobilisation of Contractor companies, ensuring full compliance to the established project procedures
- Maintain an effective working relationship with respective parties relative to industrial relations
- Maintain up-to-date working knowledge on legislation and national agreements and undertake appropriate training and development as requested
Requirements:
- Industrial Relations experience ideally across major construction projects
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and national agreements
