About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Radiographer to join our CT Radiography team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to undertake a full range of CT scans for both in-patients and out-patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coordinate, and participate in the provision of the Radiology CT service.
  • Participate in the CT service 24-hour shift rota as required.
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality images in an efficient, professional, and caring manner.
  • Support the Radiology CT lead in the delivery of the service.
  • Have and maintain an in-depth knowledge of current radiographic techniques and equipment.
  • Carry out intravenous cannulations and injections as required by the department after the appropriate training.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and all grades of staff to give technical and professional advice as required.
  • Make an ongoing contribution to the education of others and demonstrate a teaching and advisory role to qualified colleagues.
