We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Buyer to join our team in London. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy for our fresh foods and wine category.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a commercial strategy to drive sales growth and profitability for our fresh foods and wine category.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best-in-class products are sourced and showcased.
- Lead a team of four to deliver sales performance and commercial objectives.
- Develop and execute tender and RFP processes to secure the best deals for the company.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A wealth of experience in fresh food or wine procurement, with a strong understanding of supply chain and commerciality.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and develop strong working partnerships.
- Demonstrable experience of growing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- A strong knowledge of the product sector and ability to stay up-to-date with market trends.
We offer a competitive basic salary of up to £95,000, depending on experience, and a hybrid working arrangement with three days in the office and two from home. Our office is based in the City of London and is an impressive building, sharing it with our parent company.
