Graduate Structural Engineer

Are you a recent Graduate Engineer looking to start your career in structural engineering and building design? We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team at CRS Professionals (UK) Ltd.

About the Role

As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for producing structural calculations and drawings in accordance with British Standard design codes, Eurocodes, Building Regulations, and Network Rail standards. You will work closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality projects and provide excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare structural engineering designs and drawings, specifications, reports, and general correspondence.
  • Liaise and communicate with external professionals, including architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Attend external meetings and site inspections as required.
  • Produce basic structural calculations and designs for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures.
  • Develop a strong understanding of soil design and foundation design principles.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and MS Office software to create and manage project documents.
  • Develop excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.
  • Manage your workload effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
