Position Overview: We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual eager to share their gardening expertise with our service users at our Extra Care Service. The ideal candidate will possess the skills to safely guide and assist clients in engaging gardening activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement collaborative gardening activities that align with clients' personal goals.
- Enhance clients' wellbeing and promote social inclusion through engaging and enjoyable gardening sessions.
- Share your gardening knowledge in a supportive and encouraging manner.
- Work creatively and proactively to ensure a fulfilling experience for all participants.
Candidate Profile: The successful applicant will be a proactive and imaginative individual with a warm and patient demeanor. A genuine passion for working with older adults is essential, along with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Location and Hours: This role is based in a conveniently accessible service location. Working hours are generally from 9am to 5pm, with some flexibility required for occasional evenings and weekends.
