Job Summary

Utility People is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead their Distribution System Operator (DSO) transition efforts. As a key member of the team, you will oversee compliance monitoring, reporting, and ensure all regulatory and license obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the delivery of all DSO-related initiatives, including business process changes, commercial framework development, and providing expert project management support.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and map existing processes, ensuring seamless integration with the DSO vision.
  • Establish and maintain extensive networks across the business and industry, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of the DSO strategy, particularly leading the engagement, commercial, and contractual elements.
  • Monitor and manage performance in line with the DSO transition programme and business plan deliverables.
  • Lead the delivery of the DSO incentive performance, focusing on stakeholder engagement and communication.

Requirements

  • Extensive project/programme management experience within utilities, telecoms, or the government sector.
  • Proven expertise in team leadership, interpersonal skills, and commercial and contractual agreements.
  • Strong management skills, including the ability to manage large-scale project finances, opex budget, and capex budget.
  • Prince 2 training is highly desirable.
