Become a vital part of the Gregory Group as a Transport Operations Planner - Day Shift in Coalville. This position involves overseeing and organizing transportation activities, ensuring optimal service delivery to our clients.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage transportation processes, focusing on efficiency during both peak and non-peak hours.
  • Work closely with Transport Managers to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Seek out enhancements for current contracts and service agreements.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to guarantee prompt vehicle readiness.
  • Engage with both internal and external partners regarding day operations.
  • Strategically plan vehicle schedules to meet service commitments.
  • Conduct driver debriefs and achieve financial performance targets.
  • Maintain and update the Transport Management System (TMS).
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Background in logistics and transportation management.
  • Understanding of compliance and industry standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Proven experience in managing change effectively.
