Contracts Manager - Planned Works & Decarb

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team at Howells Recruitment, working with a leading Property Services and Construction Contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Retrofit works to residential properties in Cambridge, focusing on EWI, Loft Insulation, air source heat pumps, and solar PV.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver retrofit schemes to PAS and TrustMark standards, collaborating with clients and colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to planned works programmes.
  • Oversee multiple workstreams, leading a team of direct reports and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring effective communication and project delivery to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, risk management strategies, and change management initiatives to drive project success.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Planned Works within the Social Housing sector, with a strong understanding of Retrofit knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong strategic planning, risk management, and change management skills, with the ability to multi-task and work to strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of PAS 2030/2035 and CDM, as well as other Health & Safety regulations.
