About the Role:
Carpenter Box is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Tax Senior to join our Private Client Services team in Chichester. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients, working on tax compliance, and providing support to others in the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, including working on annual tax returns and associated tax advice.
- Provide support to others in the team, especially during busier periods.
- Prepare technical analysis and involve specialists within the team to prepare or review tax advice.
- Work with client administrators to ensure client administration and risk procedures are completed appropriately.
- Collaborate with local solicitors to assist them with tax matters on their clients.
- Opportunity to work on corporate tax matters and other business-related taxes.
Requirements:
- Either be or part-qualified or have a minimum of 2 years relevant practical experience.
- Strong communication and team working skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Confidence to speak to clients face-to-face or on the telephone.
- Professional competence.
- Flexibility and creativity to drive forward new ideas.
