As a School Nurse with Sirona care & health CIC, you will play a vital role in ensuring equitable access to information and support for children, young people, and families in your community. By leveraging your leadership skills, you will integrate and inform health support with the latest evidence, providing timely interventions to improve long-term outcomes.

Community-Based Work

You will be based in local communities across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire, working from schools, Hubs, and other community venues. Your advanced assessment skills will enable you to work in partnership with children, young people, and families to understand their needs and agree on appropriate support.

Collaboration and Partnership
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies to promote health and well-being, and improve early identification of strengths, needs, and risks to child outcomes.
  • Contribute to child protection procedures, early help support, and looked-after children plans.
  • Participate in supervision and assessment, and development opportunities for students of all levels and disciplines.
  • Lead health promotion activities for children, young people, and families, including webinars and roadshows.
  • Provide school drop-in clinics in secondary schools, working in partnership with schools.
